What a fantastic hotel! The wonderful room we had was on the corner of the top floor with views of the canal outside and grand canal. It had 2 x balconies and windows with shutters all round the room. Really fantastic and lovely to watch daily life from the balcony. We recommend the canal view rooms highly. Definately worth paying the extra. We have to say though, the highlight of the hotel were every one of the small team of staff who were so helpful, friendly, welcoming and they couldn’t have done any more to make our stay an enjoyable one. We had to get an early water taxi back to the airport and this was before breakfast started. They offered to make us a takeaway coffee for the trip and let us into the breakfast area early to get something to eat for the journey. What a lovely touch! The team are on hand to give advice, help arrange trips, water taxis, etc. They really were great and we can’t thank them enough for making our trip to Venice so perfect!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Hotel American Dineson. Could not fault anything and were especially impressed with your wonderful staff. Have already recommended your hotel to many people. Would love to come back.

I'm very pleased with my stay at the Hotel American Dinesen. Everything was 5 stars! The room was comfortable, well maintained, clean and the views were fantastic! The location was perfect for us. The staff bent over backwards to make your stay enjoyable.

Great! Loved the location and even fact that room was "off-site" with a shared living room and outdoor patio. Area was quiet and relatively easy to get to/from all activities. Would recommend and stay here again.

It was very clean, Nice stay but expensive considering the tiny room and lack of facilities at the hotel. Wouldn’t stay again.

Very good. A small improvement would be to have dressing gowns in suite and small chair on balcony to sit in morning.

This was perfecto for our honeymoon. What a great way to start our trip. I loved this hotel. Will stay here again

We loved our stay at your hotel! The staff was great especially Larry. He got us an ice bucket for our wine in the evening and always greeted us in the morning at breakfast. Location was perfect!

The hotel is perfectly located close to all the sites yet in a quiet area away from the crowds. Having its own pier makes getting to the hotel easy from the airport on a private water taxi. There is a nice terrace for a drink in the afternoon (although it should be non-smoking) and the free drink voucher was a nice welcoming touch. The staff are all lovely, professional and friendly. However, for the price the hotel needs to improve its common areas. It is dated and not kept up as well.

Our second year staying t the hotel and it was every bit as good as we remember last year. The staff are super friendly and can’t do enough for you.

Very friendly staff who provided very good advise about restaurants and siteseeing around the city. The canal view rooms are gorgeous, if you are in Venice for the first time this is the view you should experience. The rooms were very spacisous, clean and comfortable. Loved the breakfast and selection of pastry.

Hotel and staff were amazing. Perfect location, absolutely the best staff experience from checking in, to organsing us a water taxi and staff at breakfast knowing our room number without having to ask. Totally professional, excellent service from all and beautiful room and facilities. Couldn't recommend this hotel enough. It will not disappoint. 10/10
