Every morning at the American Dinesen Hotel, you can enjoy a breakfast designed to help you start the day with flavour and energy, in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. We provide a carefully selected range of fresh, high-quality products, including a wide variety of sweet and savoury options. You can choose from freshly baked croissants, cakes and pastries, served with jams and fresh fruit, or opt for savoury options and other treats. And it's up to you whether you'd like to enjoy your breakfast in the breakfast room on the ground floor or have it brought to your room.

Water mooring

Our hotel is easily accessible by water taxi thanks to our convenient water mooring, a unique service offered by only a few hotels in Venice, allowing you to arrive directly in front of the entrance to the American.If you have any luggage, we will be happy to collect it and have it delivered to reception.It's also ideal for those who'd like to go for a gondola ride.

    Our reception is open 24 hours a day to ensure maximum flexibility. We generally guarantee access to rooms (check-in) from 2:00 PM, while we ask that you vacate your room (check-out) by 11:00 AM. If you arrive earlier or plan to depart later, our free luggage storage is at your disposal.

  • How does the breakfast service work?
